Out of the classroom We have several programs to meet adult and student needs. Let us introduce to you:
· Ag Week, annually mid March.
· Adopt-A-Canal, (pictured, right) annually first two weeks of April.
· Earth Day, (pictured, right) annually mid April
· Soil and Water Stewardship Week, annually last week in April
· Envirothon, (pictured, right) annually mid May, Challis, ID; environmental science competition, grades 9-12
· Water Festival Day, (pictured, left) annually mid May, Tautphaus Park, Idaho Falls; 6th grade
· Natural Resources Workshop, annually late June—early July, Ketchum, ID; outdoor workshop for youth 12-14. Also teacher workshop for continuing education credit.

In the classroom We have regular environmental education programs and professionals ready to come to your class. Let us introduce to you:
· Soils presentation. NRCS Resource Soil Scientist bring an exciting soils presentation to grades 5-12. Schedule is limited– please call.
· Speech contest. (pictured, left) High school age students are invited to the district office each October for a conservation speak off. The theme changes each year.
· Project Wet. We have several project wet presentations ready.
· Adopt an NRCS Snotel site. Learn to measure snowpack in the mountains and forecast the water supply. Classes can adopt an NRCS Snotel site. Online data can be accessed. Lessons are in the areas of science, math, hydrology, water quality and are for all grade levels.
· Rainfall simulator. (pictured, left) We can make it rain in this visually stimulating presentation. Demonstrates rains impact on the soil and conservation methods.
· Conservation Jeopardy. (pictured, left) A fun conservation trivia game. Contestants save their local watershed by answering a slew of questions. This activity is for grades 4-8, but can be adapted for adults too!
· Groundwater model. Available for demonstrations.
· Trunk of activities. Available for lend.
